| Above is "Proper Christmas Attire", an 9x12" oil painting. When complicated backgrounds are added there is an additional charge of $50-$100 or more for pastel, and $100-$200 or more for oils, depending on how complicated the background is. | |||||||||||

HOW TO ORDER: contact Joy by phone or e-mail (see the top of this page) to discuss what it is you want in the portrait, what she needs in a photo and to get her address so you can send the photo(s) and your payment. Personal checks are accepted with your driver's license number added.
Work will be started in the order in which adequate photographs are received. CONDITIONS 1. You must provide an adequate photograph(s) of your pet(s). Please contact Joy to see what is needed. If the photo is not adequate it will be returned with your check. You may send several photos and let Joy pick the one to use. *Please put your name and address on the back of all photos in pencil. 2. Please indicate what color you want if you choose to have a simple background. 3. Framing is not included but can be arranged. 4. If the requested work is in oil and larger than 432 sq. inches (18x24"), there is a charge of $1.50 per additional sq. inch. 5. You are responsible for $10 shipping and handling charges. 6. You have one week after receiving the work to ship it back for minor changes. All additional shipping charges are to be paid by you. 7. Payment should be made with a personal check or bank draft sent with the photo(s) and made payable to Joy Descoteaux. |
