| This is my son's cat, Charlie. He was the smartest cat I've ever known. He lived to be 18 years old. He would purr when I talked to him. He pushed and teased our older cat into playing at least twice a day every day which kept them both young. When he was bored he'd look up and study my paintings. He frequently watched TV.
Starting in the middle of winter he would sit on my cedar chest looking out the window at the snowy New Hampshire landscape and begin his long wait for Spring. I still miss him. |
